Swinton Park New Year Package 2023

Swinton Park is located in the heart of Yorkshire and is surrounded by the family estate in which guests have access to rivers, reservoirs, moorland, dales and beautiful countryside bordering the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Whilst steeped in history and tradition, the atmosphere at Swinton Estate is one of warmth and great hospitality, and guests cannot fail but to feel at home in this castle.

New Year's Eve

From 3 pm
Arrive to a glass of fizz, mulled wine or both! Meet the team who are ready to make a truly memorable stay. While you relax, your luggage will be taken to your room. For those who wish to arrive earlier, access to the Country Club & Spa is from 1 pm.
1 pm - 5 pm
A light afternoon tea will be served in the Drawing Room, providing a little sustenance ahead of a celebratory evening.
The Country Club & Spa is available for a swim, soak or a jog! If you haven’t booked a treatment yet, it’s worth asking at Reception as there may be space for you to enjoy a luxury spa experience.
Please note children's swim times are 4 pm until 5.30 pm.
For guests dining in Samuel's Restaurant:
From 7 pm
All ready in your best bib and tucker? Black tie and evening dress are essential for the New Year’s Eve House Party. Join the team for a Champagne and Canapé Reception in the Drawing Room.

Dinner is served in Samuel’s Restaurant consisting of a tantalising tasting menu, accompanied with a flight of wine.
For guests dining in The Terrace Restaurant:
From 7 pm
Start the celebrations in The Terrace Bar with a fabulous black tie and evening dress Champagne and Canapé Reception.
7.45 pm prompt
Dinner is served in The Terrace Restaurant consisting of a tantalising tasting menu, accompanied with a flight of wine.
After Dinner
All guests are invited to The Library to continue the party and count down to the New Year. Why not try your hand at the Casino tables, with Swinton pounds?

New Year's Day

From 7.30 am - 10 am
Start the New Year with a sumptuous breakfast in Samuel’s Restaurant or The Terrace Restaurant, complete with a celebratory Bucks Fizz.
The Country Club & Spa is open throughout the day; please note children’s swim times are 9.30 am until 10.30 am and 4.00 pm until 5.30 pm.
10 am
Meet in the Morning Room before embarking on a guided walk by the Concierge team around Swinton's stunning local town. The first stop will be at the town square for hot drinks and tasty goodies! Returning back to the hotel for lunch.
12.30pm
Lunch is served.
Why not try your Archery skills, taking place over lunch and into the afternoon?
2 pm - 6 pm
How about an afternoon in the Cookery School with a hands-on masterclass with the castle's Cookery School Tutor? Entertaining and educational sessions will be running throughout the afternoon. Either pop in and see when the next session will be starting, or put your name down at Reception.
2 pm – 3 pm
Perhaps try your hand at Falconry? The resident Falconer gives you the opportunity to learn about the birds’ hunting and flying skills; experience holding a bird and the thrill of a bird being flown to your hand.

The very popular Fizz Quiz! Test your taste buds with a bottle of Champagne for the winner!

Dinner will be served in both Samuel’s Restaurant and The Terrace Restaurant, at a time to suit you; just let the team know in advance what time you’d prefer. The Drawing Room, Samuel’s Bar, and The Terrace Bar will be open for an apéritif. We wish you a fabulous evening!
After Dinner
Tea and coffee will be served in the Drawing Room with the Restaurant team serving a selection of liqueurs and port into the night.

All rates include dinner, overnight accommodation, and breakfast for two nights, as well as the meals, drinks, and activities detailed above, use of the leisure facilities from 3 pm on the day of arrival until 11 am on the day of departure, and a 35-minute spa treatment (back massage or facial) per adult guest. Please note children’s swim times apply.
Single occupancy rates are shown in brackets and are offered in certain rooms only.

Rates for children sharing a room with 2 adults, including all meals within the package, plus use of a cot and high chair or z-bed are:
Under 3 years: no charge;
4 years – 9 years: £300 per child;
10 years – 17 years: £450 per child.

If you would like to bring a dog with you, the rate is £30 per dog, per night. Beds, blankets and bowls are provided.

Additional nights - if you would like to stay an additional night before the New Year break, preferential rates may be available. Additional nights are subject to availability.
