Lismore Castle offers a home-from-home yet sumptuous New Year retreat. The castle will be yours exclusively for your family and friends, all together in the exquisite Irish home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.

A very warm welcome awaits you from Head Butler, Denis, and his dedicated team. The warmth continues, courtesy of logs crackling in open fires, the warm glow of candlelight as all the sounds and scents of the festive season dance around the castle; a castle with breath-taking views from every window and world-class Art adorning its impressive walls..

The New Year package is available for a minimum of 4 nights, however, guests are more than welcome to add on additional days, subject to availability.

30 December

New Year's Eve

Buffet breakfast at your leisure;
Estate activities, local excursions & beautiful scenic walks;

Black Tie dinner in Pugin Hall.
Entertainment and Fireworks can be arranged for an additional charge

New Year's Day

Leisurely brunch;
Local excursions & beautiful scenic walks;

2 January

Castle breakfast;
Leisurely morning;
Afternoon tea in the Drawing Room;
Family board games or castle treasure hunt;
Dinner in the Dining Room;
A night of relaxation by cosy fires with the perfect night cap.

3 January

Buffet breakfast;
Guests depart.

The New Year package is sold for a minimum 4 -night let, priced at €78,500 for groups of up to 16 people, for a fully-inclusive package.

Additional guests (up to 27 guests in total) are charged at €950 per person per night.
