Swinton Park is located in the heart of Yorkshire and is surrounded by the family estate in which guests have access to rivers, reservoirs, moorland, dales and beautiful countryside bordering the Yorkshire Dales National Park. New Year's Eve

From 3 pm - Arrive to a glass of fizz, and meet the team who are ready to make a truly memorable stay. While you relax, your luggage will be taken to your room. For those who wish to arrive earlier, access to the Country Club & Spa is from 1 pm, for a swim, soak, or jog, or make the most of the pre-celebratory relaxation with a complimentary 35-minute back massage or mini-facial, included for all adults*

*Advance booking is required. Treatment rooms open from 10 am to 5 pm.

Please note children's swim times are 4 pm until 6 pm.

1 pm - 5 pm - A sumptuous Festive Afternoon Tea will be served in the Drawing Room, alongside music from a live pianist.

All ready in your best bib and tucker? Posh frocks and black tie are a must for the New Year’s Eve House Party!

For guests dining in Samuel's Restaurant

From 7 pm - Join the team for a Champagne and canapé reception in the Drawing Room.

From 8 pm - A beautiful five-course tasting menu dinner is served, accompanied by paired wine and live instrumental piano.

For guests dining in The Terrace Restaurant

From 7 pm - Start the celebrations in The Terrace Bar with a fabulous Champagne and canapé reception.

From 8 pm - Move through to the dining room, ready for a five-course tasting menu dinner, accompanied by paired wine and live music.

After Dinner

From 10.30 pm - All guests are invited to try their luck at the casino tables in the Library as the revelry continues through to the chimes of midnight and beyond, with music from the resident DJ. A glass of Champagne will be served to welcome in the New Year, along with bacon sandwiches.

New Year's Day

7.30 am - 10.30 am - Start the New Year with a sumptuous breakfast in Samuel’s Restaurant or The Terrace Restaurant, complete with a celebratory Bucks Fizz or Bloody Mary.

The Country Club is open throughout the day from 8 am - 8 pm, please note children's swim times are 9.30 am - 11 am and 4 pm - 5.30 pm (with adult supervision).

9.45 am prompt - Meet in the Morning Room before embarking on a guided walk by the Concierge team around Swinton's stunning town. The first stop will be at the town square for hot drinks and tasty goodies. Returning back to the hotel for lunch.

From 12.30pm - Lunch is served for all guests.

12.30 pm - Why not try your Archery skills, taking place over lunch and into the afternoon?

2 pm - 4 pm - How about an afternoon in the Cookery School with a hands-on masterclass with the castle's Cookery School Tutor? Entertaining and educational sessions will be running throughout the afternoon. Either pop in and see when the next session will be starting, or put your name down at Reception.

2 pm – 3 pm - Join the resident Falconer for a one-hour Falconry demonstration. A fabulous opportunity to learn about the birds' hunting and flying skills, experience holding a bird, and the thrill of a bird being flown to your hand.
4.00 pm - 5.00 pm - The very popular Fizz Quiz! Test your taste buds with a bottle of Champagne for the winner!

From 5.30 pm - Grab a drink, before dinner in Samuel's Bar or The Terrace Bar at a time to suit you. Casual or formal, you'll have a great evening. Advance reservations are required.

Post dinner, tea and coffee will be served in the Drawing Room with the restaurant team serving a selection of liqueurs and port into the night.

2 January 2025

7.30 am – 10.30 am - Before you head off home, enjoy breakfast in the restaurants, alongside a final Bucks Fizz or Bloody Mary.

8 am - 11 am - Guests have use of the Country Club and Spa until check out (children's swim times are 9.30 am - 11 am with adult supervision).

11 am - Time to say fond farewells and a chance to wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year, with a gift to help you on your way.

All rates include dinner, overnight accommodation, and breakfast for two nights, as well as the meals, drinks, and activities detailed above, use of the leisure facilities from 3 pm on the day of arrival until 11 am on the day of departure, and a 35-minute spa treatment (back massage or facial) per adult guest. Please note children’s swim times apply.
Single occupancy rates are shown in brackets.

Rates for children sharing a room with 2 adults, including all meals within the package, plus use of a cot and high chair or z-bed are:

Under 3 years: no charge;
4 years – 9 years: £300 per child;
10 years – 17 years: £450 per child.

If you would like to bring a dog with you, the rate is £30 per dog, per night. Beds, blankets, and bowls are provided.

Additional nights - if you would like to stay an additional night before the New Year break, preferential rates may be available. Additional nights are subject to availability.
