Itinerary
Day 1-2 - Château d'Audrieu
Kick off your French Châteaux tour in style at Château d’Audrieu, in the heart of the Normandy countryside.
Set in 62 acres of parkland and gardens, the château's imposing historical exterior combines with luxurious interiors that take inspiration from the 18th century, when the château was built, whilst maintaining the comforts of a modern hotel.
Whether you choose to stay on the grounds and enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and spa, or go further afield and explore all Normandy has to offer, including local seaside activities and rich cultural experiences in the nearby museums, you are bound to enjoy your time at one of France’s most beautiful properties.
Day 3-4 - Château de la Barre
After exploring Normandy’s countryside, move onto France’s Loire Valley and the fabulous home of the Count and Countess de Vanssay; Château de la Barre.
Receive a VIP welcome from the Countess herself, before enjoying a tour by the Count de Vanssay and relaxing in one of the individually designed rooms on the estate, all of which incorporate family portraits and antiques with modern luxuries to make you feel truly at home.
Whilst staying at the château, your hosts will work with you to tailor your experience to your exact desires. Whether you wish to be chauffeured to one of France’s famous châteaux with access to parts of the properties not usually accessible to the public, thanks to the connections of the Count and Countess, or visit one of the local attractions such as the Le Mans race tracks, there is no doubt you will have the experience of a lifetime.
Day 5-6 - Château Jeanne & The Forest
Finish your tour of some of our most charming French Châteaux with a trip to the magnificent Château Jeanne & The Forest, very close to the capital city of Paris.
Set in a 15-acre park amongst the 1000-year-old Chantilly Forest, the property exudes grandeur with its vast grounds and well-appointed bedrooms, not to mention the stylish onsite restaurant, Le Vilargène.
Enjoy the wellness centre on the estate, or take a trip into Paris and visit historic landmarks like the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Arc de Triomphe before completing your trip of a lifetime!
