"A fabulous castle to stay in for the Christmas period. The staff were very friendly, our bedroom was very comfortable and we loved the decorations for Christmas including the nutcrackers at the front door! Every room was cosy and warm with splendid furnishings and log fires. The grounds had some lovely walks or you could sit and relax in one of the lounges or the library and pass the time of day with the other guests. The icing on the cake was the surprise stocking from Father Christmas outside our door on Christmas morning. "

We stayed at Stonefield for their Christmas package and it was an incredible experience! The castle itself was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was nothing short of fantastic. For the price we paid, including the upgrade to a principal room, we absolutely got our money's worth. We fully expect to travel to Stonefield again during our outside of the holidays. "

"A beautiful old property, in a stunning location, just perfect for Christmas. Beautifully decorated Christmas trees, lovely traditional decorations and open log fires made each room feel luxurious, but delightfully homely at the same time. The staff were magnificent, the food throughout our stay was superb and the attention to detail served to make our stay very special. A very big thank you from us both! "
