- Arrive from 2 pm to the stirring sound of a Highland piper and enjoy a traditional welcome of mulled wine and rich Dundee cake;
- Settle into the comfort of Fonab Castle, take a stroll through the picturesque town of Pitlochry, or simply unwind by the fire in one of the cosy lounges;
- In the evening, delight in a delicious three-course supper crafted by the award-winning chefs, then join the team in the lounge for tea, coffee and friendly conversation. A perfect chance to meet the team and get to know your fellow guests before the celebrations begin.
New Year's Eve
- Begin the final day of the year with a relaxed and indulgent breakfast, preparing you for a day full of memorable experiences;
- Late morning, step outside to enjoy a captivating falconry display on the castle lawn, followed by a light, picnic-style buffet lunch served in the scenic surroundings;
- As the afternoon unfolds, retreat to the lounge bar for freshly brewed tea, coffee and a tempting selection of cakes, an ideal moment to unwind before the evening's festivities;
- The night begins in style with a Champagne and canapé reception in the loch-side lounge, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Then, take your seat for a sumptuous five-course New Year's Eve dinner, carefully curated to mark the occasion;
- As midnight approaches, dance the night away to live music before a Lone Piper welcomes 2026. To round off the celebrations warm up with traditional Stovies served after the countdown.
1 January 2026
- Happy New Year!
- Start 2026 in style with a leisurely breakfast served alongside Mimosas to toast the fresh beginnings of the year ahead;
- For the adventurous, join the invigorating annual New Year's Day dip. Robes, towels and flasks of hot drinks will be ready to keep you warm and refreshed afterwards;
- Later in the day, relax in the lounge with a delightful afternoon tea and a sparkling glass of Sloe Gin. The afternoon is yours to enjoy, explore the surrounding area, unwind in the spa, or join the fun Treasure Quest;
- Add a touch of indulgence to your evening with a choice of two special experiences: a Port tasting in Sandemans, or a hands-on spa product demonstration. (Please note that pre-booking is required for both);
- As the day winds down, a light supper will be served in the 1892 Restaurant for those who still have room. Afterwards, enjoy a peaceful evening in the cosy surroundings of the castle, your first night of the New Year perfectly spent.
