About Séamy
My name is Séamy, and I am a Castle Sales Advisor and Tour Expert at Celtic Castles, as well as a member of our fabulous Wedding team. Behind the scenes I also lead our Gift Voucher department, and work as the Project Leader for our magnificent collection of French Châteaux.
I have worked at our company for over 2 years (and counting), and have been lucky enough to spend my working days speaking to our fantastic range of clients and castles alike.
My Most Memorable Castle Experiences
I have also had the pleasure of visiting an array of castle properties within our portfolio. My most memorable visit has to have been to the historic Traquair House, where I was able to stay in the White Room (on two separate occasions), meet the fabulous team, and enjoy a walk around the surrounding woodlands and town to celebrate my Mother’s birthday.
I am a firm believer in the importance of making memories at these significant properties, and also made a point of visiting Melville Castle for a special anniversary. There is no better place than the One-Bedroom Suite to wake up in, with views onto the back of the castle’s estate, a beautiful four-poster bed, a separate lounge area, and the most gorgeous bathroom with the biggest copper tub I have ever seen!
When I have not been enjoying milestones at a castle, I have been enjoying the food served onsite. During a visit to Dalhousie Castle with my team as a part of our festive celebrations, I was able to indulge in a dinner at their Dungeon Restaurant - the Smoked Halibut was the star of the show for me (not that I have ever been able to replicate the experience at home since)!
My Other Interests
When I am not in the office or on castle grounds, I enjoy exploring local restaurants, history, visiting café’s and, as my colleagues will no doubt tell everyone, anything to do with fine fragrance!
