Beautiful grounds and lovely staff. Wonderful way to celebrate new years. Highly recommend!
Our stay at Bovey for Christmas 2024 was just outstanding! The welcome, food, staff and surroundings were really great, and made for a memorable holiday!
We had a marvellous Christmas break. Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming, in fact we never saw anything but smiles and goodwill. The hotel Itself, as always, wonderful and the kitchen surpassed themselves! We also appreciated all the little touches from the stocking on Christmas morning to the champagne cocktails Completely recommend
Great location very well looked after great pool.
On arrival and departure, staff were extremely helpful with our luggage. Check-in / out and any queries or general questions which we had during our stay dealt with by the reception staff was extremely efficient. Our suite was very comfortable making for a very relaxing stay. The New Year's Eve & Day functions were very well organised, offering a good variety of interests to cover all ages and we specifically wish to mention how enjoyable Matt & Becka, with whom we did the Archery and Air Rifle activities plus the guided walk around / to the local village, as these definitely were a highlight of our family's stay at Bovey Castle. The only area requiring improvement was the restaurant service at breakfast, which was chaotic and disorganised resulting in protracted timescales and constant chasing. Despite the afore mentioned issue, we would still happily return to Bovey as it was a wonderful New Years Break.
