Trusted GuestThe Abbey and the surrounding grounds were very grand and impressive. It seemed a popular venue with many guests and was well presented. We stayed in a cosy double room, which was actually quite spacious and well equipped with a mini fridge, iron and hairdryer. Although it was labelled as cosy, I would say that lack of lighting was an issue for us in such a dark room. Toiletries and coffee making facilities were provided, but considering the status of this hotel, didn't match the expectations we'd had. Staff were kind and helpful, however there was some confusion and mixed messages depending upon who we spoke to, regarding how our dinner package worked. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend Coombe Abbey Hotel.
Keith, United StatesCoombe Abbey was amazing - the venue is beautiful and well maintained - very historical. Our dinner in the restaurant was grand, as was the breakfast in the same location. The room was large - the bathroom a little quirky due to its vintage nature, but 100% functional and no concerns - just things I had not seen for decades, such as the toilet tank high above the toilet, but it toally fit in. The bed was large and comfortable - we would definitely return!
Trusted GuestThe bed mattress & pillows condition were poor considering the hotel status. Staff were friendly, receptive & listened to our feedback when we were checking out.
Trusted GuestBeautiful grounds and lovely accommodations.
