We had a wonderful stay at Fenton Tower and loved every part of the experience. One of the biggest highlights was its direct proximity to Edinburgh, which made it incredibly easy to enjoy the city while staying in such a unique and peaceful setting. The welcome from Alan, Kyle, and the entire team was truly five-star: warm, attentive, elegant, and effortless. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The team helped with restaurant and activity bookings and gave us excellent advice on how to explore the surrounding area. Everything felt smooth, thoughtful, and beautifully handled. Fenton Tower itself is extraordinary. Its history and architecture are remarkable, and what makes it even more special is the striking contrast between the character of the castle and the quality of the modern facilities inside. It is rare to find a place with so much soul and such a high level of comfort at the same time. A special mention goes to the dinner we had on Friday evening, with table service and a private chef. It was absolutely incredible and one of the standout moments of our stay. We also appreciated how easy it was to get to North Berwick for shopping and essentials, and the quality of the bedding was outstanding. Overall, we had a truly wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to booking again and spending more beautiful days at Fenton Tower. Special thanks to Alan, who welcomed us with elegance, taste, and genuine simplicity.
We had the most amazing time staying at Fenton Castle. The welcome from Alan and his team was fantastic and throughout our stay they were just fabulous. The castle itself is magical and from the moment we arrived we were so well looked after. Breakfast was delicious and we also had a catered dinner one night which was just one of the highlights of our stay ... too many to mention as it really was just the best!! We hope that we will be able to return one day as it was very special.

I booked Fenton Tower for my 40th birthday party on the basis of the good reviews and I was not disappointed! The space itself is wonderful, better than the pictures, the surrounding area was fantastic, but most of all the staff were superlative. They made everything perfect. The food was delicious - particularly the seafood platter and the haggis - the drinks were great and reasonably priced, the rooms were spotless. It really was an incredible treat. We took the neighbouring lodge rooms too, which my guests loved - spacious, modern, fresh, with a great view. I was worried that they would feel ‘seperated’ from the rest of the party but instead they were glowing. Perfect experience. Thank you Alan and all!
