What is an elopement package?
An elopement package is designed for couples who wish to get married privately - a wedding for two (or with a very small number of close guests). Packages typically include a private castle ceremony space, overnight accommodation, dinner, and romantic extras such as flowers, champagne, or a photographer.
Can we invite a small number of guests to an elopement?
Many elopement packages can be extended to include a small number of additional guests (typically up to 10–15 people). Extra guests are usually charged at a per-person rate. If your group is larger, we may suggest one of our small wedding packages instead.
What is typically included in an all-inclusive elopement package?
Our all-inclusive packages vary by property but commonly include: ceremony space, 1–2 nights' accommodation for the couple, a romantic dinner, welcome drinks/Champagne, flowers, and sometimes a photographer, cake, or spa treatment. Ask us about any extras.
When are elopement packages available?
Elopement packages are commonly available on midweek dates, giving excellent availability throughout the year. Weekend availability is more limited. Let us know your preferred month and we will advise the nearest available dates.
Can we add extra nights?
Yes - most packages are based on a 2-night stay but additional nights can usually be added at a quoted per-night supplement.
Do you need to book well in advance?
While our slopement wedding for two packages tend to have more availability than full wedding packages, popular properties do book up. We recommend enquiring at least 6–12 months in advance for your preferred date, but at times we have availability at shorter notice, so it's always worth enquiring.
Can we book a photographer and hair/makeup through you?
Some packages include a photographer. For others, we can advise on recommended local suppliers for photography, flowers, hair, and makeup. Ask us and we will point you in the right direction.
How do we arrange the registrar/legal requirements?
The legal arrangements are made directly with the local registrar, and we can provide the appropriate contact details for your chosen venue. Couples travelling from overseas choose to complete the legal marriage in their home country and enjoy their castle wedding as a ceremonial celebration.
