We recently rented the castle for a weekend for our small wedding and it was an amazing experience. The castle and grounds are stunning. Marie-Therese and all of the staff were incredible and the attention to detail was unmatched. They went above and beyond to make our special day amazing. The food throughout the entire weekend was fantastic. We can’t say enough good things about Glin Castle!
This was my first trip to Ireland. I was blown away not only by the majestic and serene beauty of Glin Castle, but also by the incredible kindness, warmth, and professionalism of its staff and the lady in charge, Marie Therese. She is not only incredibly kind, her astute attention to detail, her razor sharp wit and intelligence made for an unforgettable and once in a lifetime vacation. Eoin is an incredible chef and artist with everything he created and prepared for us. Eva is unfailing polite and attentive and so sweet. The ladies who cleaned our rooms, incredibly kind and funny and charming. I was blown away by the manners and kindness of the Irish overall as well. I did almost cry when we arrived looking and taking in the beauty of the castle and the gardens. I did cry when we left. I needed this vacation for so many personal reasons. You all did not disappoint. Please also give my best regards to the family as well, and thank them. I will be back to visit. My best to you all.
Had an incredible stay at Glin for a 1920s themed birthday party - exceptional service, rooms, location, everything! Marie-Therese’ superb management meant for a 10/10 stay for all. 100% recommend, will definitely be re booking!
We loved it - the Castle was beautiful, staff were efficient and courteous and Marie Therese was outstanding in ensuring we had a truly memorable experience. We will definitely be going back - maybe for a Christmas family event.
Where do I even begin. This property is absolutely magical!! We had 30 of our closest family and friends stay with us for my husbands 40th birthday. The team at the castle was kind, accommodating, and so helpful. The Fitzgerald family were warm and welcoming. The chef is a 5 star talent and the meals were SO delicious. The property itself is so well maintained and as you walk around you feel the overwhelming feeling of calmness and relaxation. The team at the castle also helped me to make plans around the country with superb hotel and transportation recommendations.
