Your Ceremony
Your guests will be greeted with a red-carpet welcome into Kilronan Castle, whilst the bridal party enjoys a stylish Prosecco reception before the ceremony begins, providing the perfect moment for you to relax and unwind with loved ones before walking down the aisle.
Smaller, intimate ceremonies can be held in the Library or Palm Court Lake Terrace, featuring high ceilings and original stone work, whilst larger ceremonies can take place in the Grand Ballroom, beautifully illuminated under breath-taking chandeliers.
Should you choose to have a humanist ceremony, this can be carried out overlooking the glistening lake and before the backdrop of the castle.

Into the Evening
Intimate weddings under 50 guests would move into the elegant Dungeon Bar to hold the evening wedding celebrations, richly decorated with luxurious leather Chesterfield settees and ancestral portraits and historical features.
Larger wedding parties over 50 guests would stay in the Grand Ballroom; a wonderful space to host a band or Ceilidh before the DJ gets everyone up on its generously sized dancefloor!

Kilronan Castle specialises in larger wedding celebrations, up to a maximum of 380 guests, offering a grand setting, expert planning support, and tailored packages to make your day truly unforgettable.
As a Guide:
- Wedding Packages – prices range from €14,100 in low season, up to €25,375 for peak dates and higher guest numbers (based on 2025 dates).

Kilronan Estate is easily accessible by car, located only 1.5 hours from the city of Dublin, which features excellent rail and air links.

The castle is absolutely stunning — you instantly feel transported to another time. Our room (the Kingston Castle Suite) was beautiful and very cozy. We slept wonderfully; the beds are soft and incredibly comfortable. A special mention goes to the service: the castle staff are exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We truly felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend booking a room with a lake view — in the morning, the sun rises over the water, and it looks truly magical. A small tip: there’s both the original castle and a newer wing built in a similar style (they're connected). If it’s important to you to stay in the historic main building, make sure to mention that when booking. We felt completely at home here and would love to come back!
Was an amazing experience. Everyone was very professional, helpful, courteous and the hospitality was next level. We stayed in the superior king and in the tower and loved them both for their own reasons. If we have an opportunity to return to Ireland again, we will definitely be back.
The castle was beautiful and my family loved our stay there. We ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant - the staff is wonderful and the food was really good. My daughters all felt like princesses the entire stay. Thank you again!
