I can not recommend our stay in the Balvaird Wing at Scone Palace enough! A warm and welcoming staff, lots of history as well as stories were shared and wonderful memories were made. Acres and acres of property to roam and appreciate the countryside, even a star maze to get lost and found in! Perfect starting point if you are venturing into the Highlands.
We had an amazing stay and will always remember Scone Palace for the view in the garden as we enjoyed the homemade lasagna, a glass of wine and then a walk through the maze. Thank you to the staff for taking care of all of the details for our family.
This was absolutely the best experience we could have wished for. The castle grounds are so beautiful; we loved walking the paths through the many different garden areas. The accommodations were top of the line. Beds were beyond comfortable, bath amenities were luxurious and the kitchen was stocked with a lovely array of necessaries and treats. Our youngest grandson (7) actually cried when told we had to leave. I hope to repeat our stay here sometime soon. We loved the experience.
Had a sensational time at the Scone Palace. Stunning grounds to walk around and beautiful accommodations. It made our trip to Scotland unforgettable!!! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!
Scone Palace was such over delivery of expectations! We thought it would be cool to stay there but had no idea of the rich history, the authenticity and sheer beauty of the place in its entirety! If we had known what the grounds and whole place was like we would have stayed longer and not planned to go do other things. So much to do there if you want to see beautiful woods, gardens, maze, trails, palace tour, the whole place is amazing and so much better than we ever expected. After learning the history and the authenticity that f the place we felt such a privilege to be able to stay and be residents there for a few short days.
