How to reach the Island
Getting to the island is extremely easy and the cost of the ferry is included in your accommodation cost, so no extra payment is required. The ferry service is available 7-days-a-week. From 7am to midnight, it runs every 15 minutes, while midnight to 7am crossings are on-demand via a phone number posted at both riverbanks. The crossing takes approx. 4 minutes and will accommodate your car, as well as guests who are on foot.

Waterford Castle is located on a private island in the River Suir, just a short distance from Waterford City in south-eastern Ireland. The island is surrounded by lush woodlands and scenic river views, offering a peaceful and secluded setting.
