Your Christmas retreat begins with a warm piper's welcome, festive cake and spiced cider. Stroll through the charming local town, unwind with a pampering spa treatment, and end your evening with the heartwarming sound of traditional carolers beneath the starlit sky.

Christmas Eve

• Step into the Christmas spirit from 2 pm as you arrive to the enchanting sounds of a traditional Highland piper. Sip on warming mulled cider and savour a slice of rich Dundee cake as you settle in;
• Spend the afternoon exploring the wintery charm of Pitlochry, or indulge in a luxurious spa treatment for the perfect start to your festive escape;
• As twilight falls, gather by the beautifully decorated outdoor Christmas tree to enjoy performances from local carol singers, accompanied by mugs of hot chocolate and freshly made eggnog;
• Later, delight in a sumptuous three-course supper served in the elegant drawing room, followed by tea and coffee in the lounge. Unwind by the fire and share stories with fellow guests as the castle glows with Christmas magic.

Christmas Day

• Wake up to the joy of Christmas morning with a delightful breakfast, perfectly paired with festive Mimosas to start the day in style;
• Join the team later in the loch-side lounge for a sparkling Champagne and canapé reception, setting the scene for a traditional three-course Christmas lunch served in elegant surroundings;
• After lunch, relax in the bar lounge with tea, coffee and a generous slice of Christmas cake. Settle in with a good book, gather to watch the King's speech or wrap up warm for a refreshing stroll around the castle grounds;
• As evening falls, guests are invited to the 1892 Restaurant for a light, seated buffet, ideal for those who still have a little festive appetite left.

Boxing Day

• Begin your day with a relaxed and indulgent breakfast, followed by a spectacular falconry display on the lawn, a truly memorable Highland experience;
• The day is yours to enjoy at your own pace: join the lively Treasure Quest around the grounds, browse the seasonal sales at the nearby House of Bruar, or treat yourself to a rejuvenating spa treatment for the ultimate in post Christmas relaxation;
• In the afternoon, settle into the lounge for a refined Afternoon Tea, accompanied by a sparkling glass of Sloe Gin;
• Later, choose between a guided Port tasting in Sandemans or a hands-on spa product demonstration, both offering something a little different and exclusive. (Pre-booking is required);
• As the day draws to a close, indulge in one final festive three-course dinner, leaving your evening free to unwind in the warm and welcoming ambience of the castle.

27 December

• Savour a final hearty Scottish breakfast in the castle's tranquil setting before bidding a fond farewell. We wish you a safe onward journey and hope to welcome you back another time.
