Excellent location, very accessible with an excellent atmosphere with very attentive staff and management, having stayed at hotel previously it was good to see it still stood up to my expectation, attentive staff and excellent food all prepared and presented in very organised manner. Can't fault this establishment, would have no problem recommending North West Castle to anyone. Once again thank you to all management and staff for an excellent stay

What it Includes...
24 December
- Arrive from 3 pm, and enjoy mulled wine and mince pies in the Ross Lounge, taking the opportunity to mingle with your fellow guests;
- Dinner will be served from 6 pm, followed by entertainment.
Christmas Day
- A leisurely breakfast is served between 8.30 am and 9.30 am, then take part in Curling practice from 10 am to 11 am;
- A traditional Christmas lunch will be served as a carvery, in the restaurant from 12.30 pm;
- Sit back and watch the Kings Speech at 3 pm, with mulled wine, tea or coffee and mince pies;
- The traditional Christmas Day Bonspiel will be held at 4 pm, so hopefully those Curling practice sessions earlier will now pay off!
- An evening buffet will be served from 7 pm, followed by entertainment.
Boxing Day
- Breakfast is served from 8 am to 9.30 am, then enter the Table Tennis competition in the Games Room from 10.30 am.
- A light Boxing Day lunch will be served from 12.30 pm;
- This afternoon, a Bowling Tournament is held in the Games Room from 3 pm;
- Dinner is served from 6 pm, followed by a Christmas Quiz!
27 December
- Enjoy a hearty Scottish breakfast, served from 7.15 am, before you bid farewell to Stranraer and head homewards. Haste ye back!

North West Castle Hotel is situated on Loch Ryan in Dumfries and Galloway. It is equipped with its own sauna, spa bath, gym, indoor pool and even curling ice rink! Dishes in the restaurant are made with fresh local produce and dinner is accompanied by a pianist, who will be happy to play your requests. The hotel is located opposite Stranraer harbour, the main ferry port between Scotland and Ireland.
