At 7 pm join the team in the Drawing Room for pre-dinner drinks before experiencing a showstopping evening of fine dining and grandeur. The black tie gala dinner in the Connaught Room is a highlight of the season, featuring exquisite cuisine in a setting of refined splendour.

New Year's Day

Wake to a sumptuous breakfast served in the regal George V Dining Room, served from 8 am to 10 am, but save room for a leisurely New Year's Day brunch from 10.30 am, complete with freshly made mimosas and seasonal favourites.

This afternoon, embrace the spirit of the castle with curated experiences designed to delight:

  • 1 pm - Guided history walk with local historian Fintan O'Gorman OR archery on the grounds;
  • 2 pm - Falconry experience OR a boat-cruise on Lough Corrib with traditional Irish music;
  • 3 pm - Estate treasure hunt OR golf challenge: nearest the pin.

Unwind in the Drawing Room with another delightful serving of afternoon tea, before dinner at your leisure from 7 pm in either the George V Dining Room or the Dungeon.
