Welcome the New Year in unforgettable style at Corsewall Lighthouse, where crisp winter coastlines, sparkling horizons and indulgent fine-dining offer a magical start to 2027.
This remarkable lighthouse, rich with heritage, first cast its beam across the waves in 1817, crafted by the visionary engineer Robert Stevenson, grandfather of Treasure Island author Robert Louis Stevenson. Today its enduring presence offers guests a rare change to step inside a living piece of Scottish maritime history.
From its commanding perch, you'll enjoy sweeping views across the Kintyre Peninsula, Isle of Arran, The Firth of Clyde, Ailsa Craig and, on the clearest of days, the distant outline of Ireland. Wildlife flourishes across the surrounding estate, and as night falls the twirling beams of neighbouring lighthouses add a touch of magic to the darkened sea.
Nestled in one of Scotland's most peaceful coastal corners, the former lighthouse keepers' cottage provides a serene winter hideaway. It's a place to recharge, slow down, and savour the cosy glow of the season, wrapped in comfort, while the wild beauty of the coast unfolds outside your window.
What it Includes...
This New Year, the lighthouse invites you to indulge in a luxurious two-night escape where dinner, bed and breakfast set the tone for a truly memorable stay. While the sea air adds a touch of seasonal magic, it's the exceptional fine dining that takes centre stage.

For an authentic coastal retreat, stay in one of the characterful rooms within the historic main building, or opt for the elegant modern accommodations set within the grounds, offering contemporary comfort and tranquillity.

Our Experts Say
Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel invests the charm and romance of an 1815, functional lighthouse with the comforts of a small, very unique luxury hotel and restaurant. The lighthouse is a listed 'A' building of major national importance. Its light still beams a warning for ships approaching the mouth of Loch Ryan, as it has done for 185 years, and the property provides guests with an opportunity to experience an all-round different experience.
