Cringletie New Year Package 2025

Celebrate Hogmanay in the grand surroundings of Cringletie House a magnificent Victorian Baronial mansion just 20 miles south of Edinburgh.

With thirteen individually styled bedrooms, each offering its own charm, luxurious touches, and sweeping views of the frosted grounds and surrounding countryside, Cringletie is the perfect place to ring in the New Year with elegance, warmth and a touch of Highland magic.

ITINERARY MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

30 December 2025

• Arrive from 3 pm to a cream tea served in the Maguire Lounge;
• Champagne & canapés will be served in the Garden Room from 6.30 pm;
• Take your seats at 7.30 pm for Chef's seven-course tasting menu served in the Sutherland Restaurant.

New Year's Eve

• Enjoy a lazy Scottish Breakfast served in the Sutherland Restaurant from 8 am to 10 am;
• From 11 am a fabulous Birds of Prey experience is available with the team from Elite Falconry;
• A traditional afternoon tea will be served in the Maguire Lounge between 1.30 pm and 3.30 pm;
• This afternoon, get your dancing shoes on and prepare for the evening entertainment with a Ceilidh Dance Class with Sheila Sapkota;
• Join the team for a pre-dinner New Year's 'Kir Royale' at 7 pm in the Garden Room, followed by a fabulous Hogmanay dinner in the Sutherland Restaurant;
• Spend the evening Ceilidh dancing in the Conservatory, featuring Riddell Fiddles Ceilidh Band;
• Welcome in 2026 with a wee dram and house piper, and then the dancing continues until 1 am.

New Year's Day

• From 10 am, Cringletie's festive brunch is served in the Sutherland Restaurant;
• Enjoy the 'Taste of the Borders' cookery demonstration in the Conservatory;
• In the afternoon, archery and air rifle shooting on the lawn is available with mulled wine, hot chocolate, and a sweet treat;
• Gather at 6.30 pm for a Champagne reception in the Garden Room, followed by New Year's Day gala dinner served in the Sutherland Restaurant, accompanied by harpist, Charlotte Petersen.

2 January 2026

• Enjoy a final full Scottish breakfast before you are bid a fond farewell...Haste Ye Back!
