- Arrive in time for a Champagne afternoon tea accompanied by the gentle melodies of the Glenapp pianist on the baby grand piano;
- Settle into your surroundings, unwind beside roaring fires or explore the beautiful Glenapp estate, including the distinctive Italian Gardens designed by Gertrude Jekyll;
- As evening falls, gather with fellow guests for pre-dinner drinks and canapés in the Drawing Room, serenaded by the resident harpist;
- The evening continues with a lavish three-course gourmet dinner, followed by indulgent homemade petit fours, a splendid beginning to your Scottish Hogmanay celebrations.
31 December
- Start the day with a traditional Scottish breakfast before heading to Stranraer for a spirited New Year curling bonspiel. Under the guidance of some of the world's finest coaches, you'll sweep your way toward curling glory;
- Enjoy a comforting afternoon tea, before returning to the Castle. Could you be crowned Glenapp's curling champion?
- The black tie Hogmanay celebrations begin with a Champagne reception in the Drawing Room, followed by an exquisite six-course banquet dinner with paired wines;
- As the evening unfolds, enjoy the spectacle of Scottish pipers, dancers, and the traditional 'beating retreat';
- Later, cast aside the formalities and join a lively Scottish ceilidh, dancing late into the night. At midnight, a glass of Champagne and the stirring sound of the pipes will 'bring in the bells' Glenapp style. Join new friends in Auld Lang Syne and dance on to the wee small hours.
1 January 2027
- Ease into the New Year with a leisurely brunch, perhaps accompanied by the restorative powers of a Bloody Mary;
- Choose from an exciting afternoon of activities, all included in your stay: an interactive falconry display featuring magnificent birds of prey, or test your aim with an archery lesson and friendly competition;
- Warm up later with a traditional cream tea and capture the memories with Glenapp's in-house caricaturist;
- In the evening, enjoy a refined three course gourmet dinner, followed by a much anticipated prize giving for the curling competition and evening entertainment. Who will be crowned the Glenapp King or Queen of the bonspiel?
2 January
- Savour one final Glenapp Scottish breakfast before bidding farewell ...... haste ye back!
