Ring in the New Year surrounded by sweeping Highland scenery, enchanting wildlife and exquisite Scottish cuisine. A Hogmanay escape at Stonefield Castle, complete with its own island and private moorings, is a truly magical way to welcome the year ahead.

Relax, unwind and immerse yourself in the warmth, charm and timeless beauty of this unique coastal retreat on the shores of Loch Fyne.

30 December - a warm highland welcome

• Arrive to the glow of a roaring log fire, with mulled wine and traditional shortbread awaiting you;
• In the evening, join fellow guests for a sparkling reception and dinner in the Loch Fyne Restaurant (dinner time to be arranged prior to arrival or at check-in).

New Year's Eve - Hogmanay festivities

• After a leisurely breakfast, explore the grounds or enjoy an invigorating walk around the castle's own Barmore Island;
• A light lunch of homemade soup and sandwiches will be served in the lounges;
• As evening falls, the celebrations begin. Enjoy a glass of Champagne, followed by a spectacular gala dinner (over 16 years only);
• Kick up your heels at the traditional Ceilidh, with the lively sounds of Gunna Sound;
• The stirring skirl of the pipes will welcome 2027, while you celebrate with a wee dram at the stroke of midnight.

New Year's Day - traditions and indulgence

• Start the year in style with a hearty breakfast brunch in the restaurant;
• In the afternoon, take part in the legendary Grand Haggis Hunt, a much-loved Stonefield tradition, fun for all except the haggis!
• Afternoon tea will be served in the lounges;
• Later, join the team for a refined whisky-tasting experience;
• In the evening, enjoy a canapé reception, followed by a five-course Scottish tasting menu crafted by Chef;
• The much-anticipated Castle Quiz rounds off the night.

2 January 2027

• Enjoy a full Scottish breakfast before bidding farewell to your 'Heilan Home'. Haste you back until we meet again!
