With exclusive use of the castle and grounds, your wedding can be tailored to suit your requirements! There are two options to choose from: the fully-serviced wedding package, which includes a dedicated team, chef and service throughout your stay, or the self-catered wedding package, giving you the flexibility to arrange your own catering and suppliers.

Fully serviced wedding - £31,500

• Three-night exclusive hire of Birkhill Castle;
• Wedding for up to 50 guests;
• Accommodation for 30 adults and 6 children in the main castle;
• Use of the castle ballroom for dining and dancing for up to 50 guests;
• 25% discount for hiring the Glasshouse - located in the grounds of the castle, suitable for larger weddings up to 150 guests;
• Chef throughout your stay, including the wedding day, with ingredients charged separately;
• Butler service for the entire stay;
• Serving staff for up to 50 guests;
• Concierge;
• Daily housekeeping;
• Provision of tables and chairs;
• All crockery, cutlery, glasses and table linen for up to 50 guests.

Self-catered wedding - £24,500

• Three-night exclusive hire of Birkhill Castle;
• Wedding for up to 50 guests;
• Accommodation for 30 adults and 6 children in the main castle;
• Use of the castle ballroom for dining and dancing for up to 50 guests;
• Electricity for additional music and catering requirements;
• Designated car parking area;
• Recommendations for local suppliers.

Please note, for a self-catered wedding, catering, alcohol, chef, staff, crockery, cutlery, glassware and decorations are to be supplied by your chosen suppliers.

The Glasshouse

For larger celebrations, the Glasshouse provides a separate event space that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Located just a five-minute walk from the castle, it offers a flexible option for larger wedding celebrations. The Glasshouse includes:

• Tables and chairs for up to 150 guests;
• Toilet facilities;
• Catering kitchen;
• Lighting and power outlets.

When booked as part of a fully serviced wedding, a 25% discount is applied.

The cost to hire the Glasshouse in addition to the self-catered wedding package is £6,000.

Additional accommodation...

In addition to the castle accommodation, the estate is home to the beautifully renovated stables, located just a five-minute walk from the castle. The stable's features 7 en-suite bedrooms and is available at an additional £200 per room, per night. This brings the total estate overnight capacity to 52 guests.
