My name is Louisa, and I've been with Celtic Castles since August 2024. My main role as a castle expert is fantastic! Assisting clients from all over the globe in finding their perfect holiday, family event, wedding, corporate retreat etc. can be a challenge, but the outcome is always rewarding! I also manage our social media, keeping our followers up to date with all our castles, and also what fun we get up to! Why don't you follow us?
My Most Memorable Castle Experiences
I think the most memorable castle experience has to be when I took my family (and the dog) to Lochhouse Tower in Scotland for a few days. The peaceful location, the ambience of the castle, stargazing from the hot tub at night and then relaxing by the crackling fire was just priceless!
Another memorable trip was a visit to Broughton Hall with some of my colleagues. Such a stunning estate, beautiful grounds, delicious food and the most amazing spa!! The archives and the history of the estate were a delight to look through.
For the foodies! We have been lucky enough to sample some of the finest food at Killochan Castle, Dalhousie Castle, Crossbasket Castle, and Blairquhan Castle!
I'm very much looking forward to my next trip.
My Other Interests
I love musical theatre, and watch professional shows whenever I can. I also like to perform with local amateur theatre groups. Travelling has always been a passion, whether in the UK or overseas, and I enjoy getting lost in a good book. My dog gets me out walking, which I also enjoy!
