Christmas Eve

• Arrive to a warm welcome and indulge in a delightful afternoon tea, accompanied by a live singer;
• Festive activities await throughout the day, setting the tone for a magical evening;
• As night falls, enjoy welcome drinks and canapés before sitting down to an exquisite five-course dinner, perfectly accompanied by the resident pianist.

Christmas Day

• Wake to a leisurely breakfast before a special visit from Father Christmas, bringing gifts for younger guests;
• Take a breath of crisp Dartmoor air with a stroll through the estate before the celebrations begin;
• A Champagne and canapé reception leads into a spectacular five-course Christmas Day lunch in the Great Western Grill, serenaded by a harpist;
• Later, gather in the lounges for the King’s speech, served with tea and mice pies;
• In the evening, a relaxed buffet dinner provides the perfect end to a truly magical day.

Boxing Day

• After breakfast, choose your adventure! From a friendly golf tournament and guided estate walk to a festive treasure hunt around the castle grounds;
• The afternoon brings much-loved traditions including ferret racing and a ‘nearest the pin’ golf competition on the South Terrace, best enjoyed with hot chocolate or mulled wine;
• A sumptuous savoury and sweet afternoon tea will be served in the lounges, accompanied by live entertainment;
• In the evening, dress for the occasion (cocktail dresses and lounge suits) and join the team for a stylish cocktail reception followed by a six-course dinner in the Great Western Grill, with music from the resident pianist;
• Round off the night with a little festive fun at the casino tables.
