Step into the magic of Corsewall Lighthouse, where sweeping winter coastlines meet exceptional seasonal dining.
Steeped in character and history, Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel traces its story back to 1817, when renowned engineer Robert Stevenson, grandfather of Treasure Island author Robert Louis Stevenson, first illuminated this rugged stretch of coastline.
From its vantage point, you'll be treated to sweeping views of the Kintyre Peninsula, Arran, the Firth of Clyde, Ailsa Craig, and even the distant shores of Ireland. The surrounding estate teems with wildlife, and on clear evenings you can watch the beams of neighbouring lighthouses dance across the horizon.
Tucked away in a beautifully remote corner of Scotland, the historic lighthouse keepers' quarters offer a peaceful retreat, an inviting hideaway where you can truly switch off, unwind, and savour the cosy charm of the festive season.

"The room we had was large and contained everything we needed. It was clean and tidy with plenty of space for our clothing. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The meals over the Christmas break were excellent and with good choices. Christmas dinner was away from the norm which was wonderful. John and Helen, with chef Richard, made everyone feel welcome and went out of their way to satisfy different food requirements. We would certainly recommend Corsewall for a peaceful, relaxing stay. "
"A very comfortable stay, delicious food and welcoming staff. A lovely way to spend Christmas."
Christine, County Durham

Our Experts Say
Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel invests the charm and romance of an 1815, functional lighthouse with the comforts of a small, very unique luxury hotel and restaurant. The lighthouse is a listed 'A' building of major national importance. Its light still beams a warning for ships approaching the mouth of Loch Ryan, as it has done for 185 years, and the property provides guests with an opportunity to experience an all-round different experience.
