ITINERARY MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Christmas Eve

• Arrive from 3 pm to a cream tea served in the Maguire Lounge;
• Gather from 6.30 pm to meet fellow guests in the Garden Room for a glass of Champagne and Scottish canapés;
• Take your seats at 7.30 pm and enjoy Chef's seven-course tasting menu in the Sutherland Restaurant.

Christmas Day

• From 8 am, a full Scottish festive breakfast, with Buck's Fizz, will be served in the Sutherland Restaurant;
• Take the morning to relax and maybe enjoy a walk or some games, indoors or out.

Activity options include:
*A walk on the hotel's Nature/Historical Trail (map provided)
*Board games in the Conservatory
*Croquet or putting green
*Outdoor chess or boules – in the Walled Garden

• The tradition that is 'Christmas Lunch' is served between 12.30 pm and 3 pm in the Sutherland Restaurant, accompanied by harpist, Charlotte Petersen.
• A light supper buffet will be served in the Conservatory for anyone who has room for more.

Boxing Day

• Wake up to a festive brunch served in the Sutherland Restaurant;
• At 12.30 pm enjoy the 'Taste of the Borders' cookery demonstration in the Conservatory;
• This afternoon, why not try your hand at archery and air rifle shooting on the lawn, with mulled wine, hot chocolate, and a sweet treat;
• At 6.30 pm, join in the 'Gathering of the Clan' in the Garden Room for a specially created 'Scottish Hills' cocktail, followed by a traditional Scottish Burns Supper, served in the Sutherland Restaurant, featuring the castle's resident piper who will address the Haggis, with a wee dram;
• Dance the night away in the Conservatory with the Riddell Fiddles Ceilidh Band.

27 December
