This castle is beautiful. The Christmas package was fun and luxurious. The food was delicious and our room was gorgeous. All of the staff were very helpful and kind. The owners were present and interacting with the guests. The tour of the property was engaging and educational. I'd love to return in the summer when the garden is blooming.

Christmas Eve

• Begin your stay with an exquisite Champagne afternoon tea in the Castle Drawing Room, accompanied by the gentle melodies of the resident pianist on the baby grand. Unwind by the roaring fire or explore the gardens and estate at your leisure;
• In the evening, gather for a Christmas cocktail before a leisurely three-course dinner, accompanied by the angelic sounds of the Glenapp harpist. Transport to the watchnight service at the local Ballantrae Parish Church is also available.

Christmas Day

• Celebrate a Merry Christmas with a leisurely full Scottish breakfast, and keep an eye open for Santa - he likes to drop by!
• Spend the morning exchanging gifts, enjoying homemade mince pies, and sipping mulled wine by the fire or be mesmerised by an interactive falconry display, where majestic birds of prey swoop gracefully onto your gloved hand;
• Toast the festivities with Champagne and canapés before indulging in a four-course Christmas lunch, crafted from the finest Ayrshire produce by Glenapp's Executive Chef and culinary team;
• After lunch, take invigorating walks along the coast, through the glen, or across the estate;
• Conclude the day with a delightful evening buffet, followed by entertainment and traditional family games.

Boxing Day

• Enjoy another traditional Scottish breakfast before an action-filled morning of clay-pigeon shooting, archery and treasure hunts on the castle estate;
• A light lunch will be served, accompanied by the Glenapp harpist, with the afternoon free to explore the estate or nearby attractions;
• Indulge in a special Boxing Day cocktail followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner, then don your dancing shoes and join the Scottish celebrations with a traditional ceilidh band, accompanied by Scottish highland dancers to keep your toes tapping all night.
