Christmas Eve - A warm welcome awaits.

• From 1 pm to 5 pm - Step into the magic of Christmas as you arrive at the castle. Be greeted with mulled drinks and festive cheer while the attentive Front of House team take care of your luggage. Enjoy a delightful afternoon tea accompanied by seasonal melodies from the resident pianist, the perfect start to your festive stay;
• From 6 pm - Join fellow guests in the atmospheric Lower Hall for a pre-dinner drinks and canapé reception, complete with Christmas carols and the enchanting sound of hand-bell ringing;
• Savour an exquisite dinner at the time of your choosing either in Samuel's restaurant or The Terrace Restaurant (advance bookings required);
• After dinner, retire to the Drawing Room for tea, coffee and a fine selection of liqueurs and port served util 11 pm;
• From 10.30 pm - For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass in nearby Masham, the team recommends departing by 10.30 pm. Upon your return, festive tipples and mince pies will be waiting to welcome you back.

Christmas Day - A feast for the senses.

• From 7.30 am - 10 am - Wake up on Christmas morning and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast served in Samuel's or The Terrace Restaurant, with a celebratory glass of Bucks Fizz of course;
• From 12 noon
  For guests dining in Samuel’s Restaurant: - Enjoy a Champagne cocktail reception in the Drawing Room before sitting down at 12.30 pm for a traditional Christmas lunch, masterfully prepared by the Head Chef in the beautifully adorned Samuel's Restaurant;
  For guests dining in The Terrace Restaurant: - Begin with Champagne cocktails in The Terrace Bar before enjoying a festive Christmas feast at 12.30 pm. Let the glow of fairy lights and festive ambience set the tone for an unforgettable afternoon;
• From 3 pm - Settle in to watch the King's Christmas speech in the private cinema, followed by classic Christmas films. For those feeling active, take a refreshing stroll around the estate grounds. Later, enjoy board games in the Billiards Room, with a tempting spread of cheese, port and sherry to carry you through until supper;
• From 7 pm - 9 pm - A relaxed evening supper will be served in Samuel's Restaurant, allowing you to unwind at your own pace.

Boxing Day - Adventures & Elegance

• From 7.30 am - 10 am - Boxing Day breakfast will be served in both Samuel’s and The Terrace Restaurant;
• At 9.30 am sharp - Meet in the Morning Room and join the castle's Concierge Team for a trip to Masham’s historic market square to watch the traditional Boxing Day hunt ride out, followed by a guided town walk before returning for lunch;
• From 12.30 pm - Lunch will be served back at the Castle, and the afternoon brings a host of memorable activities;
• Archery sessions - test your aim in the castle grounds;
• 2 pm – 4 pm: Cookery School Masterclass - join the castle's Head Chef for hands-on culinary fun. Sessions run every hour, lasting 45 minutes;
• 2 pm - 3 pm - Falconry Experience - meet the magnificent birds of prey and feel the thrill as one lands on your glove;
• 4 pm - 5 pm - The Fizz Quiz! - A sparkling blind tasting challenge with Champagne for the winner;
• From 6.30 pm
  For guests dining in Samuel’s Restaurant: - Dress to impress for pre-dinner Champagne cocktails and a Boxing Day toast, followed by a gourmet tasting menu with paired wines at 7.30 pm;
  For guests dining in The Terrace Restaurant: - Join the Boxing Day House Party, beginning with Champagne and toasts. Dinner is served at 7.30 pm, featuring a sumptuous tasting menu and wine flight;
• After dinner:
  All guests are invited to the castle's exclusive casino evening. Try your luck at the tables and enjoy a glamorous finale to the day.

27 December 2025 - A Fond Farewell

• From 7.30 am - 10 am - Enjoy a final breakfast and perhaps a strong coffee in Samuel's Restaurant before bidding farewell to Swinton Estate;
  Go with warm wishes, treasured memories, and a small Christmas gift from the team. A parting token of festive joy and appreciation.

All rates are per room, based on two guests sharing, for the three-night package. This includes overnight accommodation and breakfast, all meals and drinks as detailed above, full access to the leisure facilities from 3 pm on the day of arrival until 11 am on departure day, plus a relaxing 35-minute spa treatment (choice of back massage or facial) for each adult guest. Please note: children's swim times apply.

Children's Rates
Children sharing a room with two adults, including all package meals and use of a cot, high chair or z-bed, are charged as folows:

• Under 3 years: Complimentary
• 4 to 9 years: £315 per child
• 10 to 17 years: £485 per child

Dog Friendly Stays
Swinton Park welcomes your four-legged friends at £35 per dog, per night. Cosy beds, blankets and bowls are provided to ensure they feel right at home.

Extend Your Stay
If you wish to arrive early, or linger after the festive break, preferential rates for additional nights may be available, subject to availability.

Festive Bedroom Christmas Trees
Add a beautifully decorated living Christmas tree to your bedroom from £40 per tree. These trees will be replanted on the estate after the season, ready to spread festive joy year after year. Please place your tree order by 1 November 2025.
