My name is Bethany and I specialise in weddings at Celtic Castles!
My role covers everything from creating wedding packages to guiding wedding couples through their options, answering questions, and arranging Zoom calls, particularly for our many overseas clients planning destination weddings. I love helping couples find their perfect castle, and supporting them from the first enquiry right through to securing their date.
My Most Memorable Castle Experiences
One of my favourite castle experiences was visiting Broughton Hall. The hall itself is beautiful and steeped in history, but the wider estate offers even more, especially for wellness. We enjoyed the spa, sauna, and steam room, explored the grounds, and discovered a range of experiences from rewilding activities to wellbeing retreats. A fun fact: Broughton Hall has also been the backdrop for several TV and film productions, including The House of Guinness and Gentleman Jack.
Another memorable visit was to Glenapp Castle, where we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea paired with excellent service. I also loved the seafood course at Killochan Castle. It’s always a pleasure to meet our colleagues in person, especially when great food is involved!
I also loved visiting Carlton Towers. The history tour was fascinating, and I was particularly captivated by the cards the castle owners have received from the royal family over the years; there was even a card signed by Princess Diana!
My Other Interests
In my spare time, I'm happiest when I am exploring new countries and trying different foods from around the world! To relax, I enjoy crocheting and baking - I recently won “Best Lemon Drizzle Cake” at my local agricultural show!
